Based on the MyCIF terms and conditions as amended on 2 August 2021, a fundraiser will generally receive a ratio of 1:4 investment from MyCIF. However, in the event where the ECF campaign exceeds 50% of its initial investment target, MyCIF may consider reducing the co-investment ratio at its discretion.

Please find examples below.

Example 1:

If a fundraiser achieved the fundraising target of RM400k from its minimum target of RM400K, MyCIF will disburse additional funds of RM100K. Hence, this is a 1:4 ratio.

Example 2:

If a fundraiser achieved the fundraising target of RM500k from its minimum target of RM400K (exceed by 25%), MyCIF will disburse additional funds of RM125K. Hence, this is a 1:4 ratio.

Example 3:

If a fundraiser achieved the fundraising target of RM700K from its minimum target of RM400K (exceed by 75%), MyCIF may reduce its co-investment ratio and disburse additional funds of RM140K (1:5) instead of RM175K (1:4). This is for illustration purposes only, with the final amount disbursed decided by MyCIF.
