# I'm not in Singapore, can I invest on Alta?

We generally accept persons who qualify as an accredited or institutional investor under Singapore law, and have cleared all accreditation and identify verification checks. However, please note that other laws may apply (depending on factors like your tax residency and where you live in) which may restrict your ability to invest.
