How do I fund my account?

Find out how you can fund your account on Alta in a few easy steps via bank transfer or PayNow*

Funding your account with Alta can be done via the app, direct bank transfer, or via PayNow. We currently accept the following currencies: SGD, USD, MYR, AUD, GBP, EUR. 

Before You Transfer Funds to Alta:

  1. The fund transfer should be made from a bank account held under your name only.
  2. Your investment may be transacted in a specific currency, and you will be advised accordingly with which currency to transfer. 
  3. Kindly do not make cash deposits. We cannot accept any funds that are transferred by way of cash deposit.
  4. In the case of excess funds transferred due to currency discrepancy, Alta is. obligated to process a refund to the same bank account used for transfer. Do note that extra charges for conducting the refund will be borne by you.
  5. Please transfer your investment within 3 days upon receipt of payment advice.
    Kindly note that the trade request will be cancelled if funds are not transferred.
  6. Kindly ensure that fund transfers are made in a timely manner for a smooth investment process.
  7. Once the transfer is completed, please submit your proof of transfer for our. confirmation. Please allow us up to 5 working days to confirm the transfer of funds. We will update once funds have been sighted.

Please follow these instructions to complete your transfer of funds

(Note: without following these steps, your funds may take a longer time to be processed.) 

  1. Once the transfer of funds has been effected, send an email to cs@alta.exchange with the subject – "Fund transfer into AltaX Custody"
  2. Please only use the email address used to create your account with Alta, to facilitate crediting to your custody account.
  3. Be sure to attach a screenshot of proof of payment.
  4. If the payment is for a specific order made via the platform, you may also choose to submit via Alta's app.
